Have you recently bought a digital SLR or "bridge" camera but still only use “Full Auto” mode? Feel there’s more it can do? This class is for you! Learn the basics of what an SLR camera can really do!

This class covers:

Starting from the very beginning, learn how to use and adjust shutter speed, apeture, ISO level, white balance and various other basic controls and how to use them to achieve the photo you want.

Everyone brings their camera with them, and every time we learn a new function or idea, we end the topic with "hands on" practice so you learn exactly how to do it on your own camera. By taking a series of different shots you will learn how the different controls can completely alter the outcome of your photographs.

The class also includes a handout with all the information and topics covered for your reference at home.

Requirements= You will need a digital SLR, mirrorless or "bridge" camera of some description (some advanced compact cameras may suffice- please feel free to email and check if your camera is suitable before booking if you're not sure!)

We will be outside for around an hour in this class, so please bring suitable clothing.

Cold buffet lunch is included- please let me know if you have any special requirements or allergies. Tea and coffee will be available all day.
